AXMINSTER: Howl open mic night returns to River Cottage Canteen

Elijah Wolf and River Cottage Canteen in Axminster have teamed up yet again to present a showcase of extraordinary and original, local musicians and singer/songwriters.

Elijah who runs Howl Open Mic and who will be playing with his wife Ava under their new name The Gravity Drive is very excited about the fourth showcase at River Cottage Canteen on Monday, August 13th.

“I love working with the team at River Cottage Canteen” says Elijah. “Every showcase we have worked on together has been a great success with a superb atmosphere. It's going to be a very special night. We have some truly outstanding performers for the night and the canteen crew always serve up excellent food'.

One such performer, Declan Duffy will be releasing his band The Pickwicks debut single 'Never had to try' on Howl Records on the night!.

Tickets are £10.00 and include River Cottage nibbles and are available from River Cottage Canteen in Axminster, Bridport Music or can be reserved by emailing the team at [email protected]

The acts on the night are: The Gravity Drive (Elijah and Ava Wolf), Elly McCabe, Hush, Jinder, Abi Rich, Chris Garcia and Laura Tippett, The Pickwicks, Fence and Dean Skinner.
