SIDMOUTH: Donkey dudes welcome
Animal lovers who fancy mucking in and getting their hands dirty can do just that at The Donkey Sanctuary this summer. Every Tuesday between July 24th and August 28th between 11am – 3pm, the charity is hosting a Donkey Dudes event.
This is the perfect opportunity for budding donkey grooms to spend some one-to-one time with a donkey. All those taking part will be introduced to the basics of donkey care and will leave with a certificate and badge marking their achievements. Claire Shapcott, Events Supervisor for The Donkey Sanctuary, said “Donkey Dudes is a fun and light-hearted introduction to caring for donkeys – perfect for any young people considering a career with animals, future foster owners or just those who fancy spending some quality time with our lovely resident donkeys. “Pop along at any point between 11am – 3pm any Tuesday during the summer holidays and enjoy a 15 minute meet and greet with our long-eared friends.
