HONITON: Fundraising in the rain

Beehive fundraisers were out in force on Saturday (April 28th) braving the rain showers selling draw tickets in Honiton High Street.

A group of Community Complex supporters, including Valerie Guppy, John Crew, Liz Hayler, John Burgess and Michael Teare, sold 222 tickets during a very windy and wet April morning.

The £222 raised means the total fundraising figure now stands at £3,888.

The fundraisers are also collecting old clothes and would like to thank all the people who have donated items this past week.

Clothes can be left at the town council offices weekday mornings or telephone Marianne on 01404 41585 for bags to be picked up.
