LYME REGIS: Woodroffe students win county call-up

COUNTY vests and team trophies were at stake as the Woodroffe School in Lyme Regis took 25 of its best cross country runners to the county championships at Kings Park in Bournemouth.

The day was a great success for Woodroffe, with 11 students winning a county call-up.  These included Tamsin Edge, Annabelle Arnold, Kingsley Wellman, Ross Scadding, Henry Riddle, Layla Felgate and Mollie Hansford.

Students Kingsley Wellman, Annabelle Arnold and Layla Felgate later all qualified for the national cross country team at an event in Exeter, as well as being chosen for the South West England Championships alongside fellow students Henry Riddle, Mollie Hansford, Abi Dare and Alex Morgan.
