SIDMOUTH: Riding charity hosts table top sale

Sidmouth residents are being invited to clear out their cupboards for a local riding therapy charity’s table top sale on Saturday, November 19th from 10am.

The Parents & Friends Association (PFA) at the Sidmouth centre of the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys is organising the sale to raise funds for the centre, which is located in the grounds of The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth.

The sale will run from 10am until 1pm with refreshments available throughout the day.

Admission and parking is free for buyers, and sellers will be charged at £5 per table.

Centre Manager Lauriel Harris said: “In addition to our usual range of books, bric-a-brac and delicious food on sale,  we will also be welcoming extra craft stalls to this event, making it an ideal opportunity to pick up some truly unusual and handmade Christmas gifts.

“There’s still time to book a table which could be the perfect push for those looking to clear out their cupboards and create some extra cash for Christmas and gain storage space for this years’ presents.”

Please telephone EST Sidmouth on 01395 573009 to book your table.

EST Sidmouth provides donkey riding therapy, free of charge, to around 150 children from 41 local schools each week and is entirely reliant on donations to fund its work.

The PFA supports the centre by holding fundraising events, and encouraging parents, friends and supporters to get involved with its work.
