12th October 2011BRIDPORT: Chance for businesses to share views on Local Plan
BUSINESSES in Bridport can share their views on the West Dorset District Council’s Local Plan at a breakfast consultation next week.
A breakfast meeting to discuss the plan is being hosted at The Bull Hotel next Monday, October 17th.
The breakfast event is one of three being held in the county, endorsed and sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses, with others in Sherborne and Dorchester.
The meetings will last no more than two hours and will start with continental breakfast at 7am leading into the consultation from 7.30am and concluding by 9am.
West Dorset District Council Leader Robert Gould said: “The Local Plan will shape the future of West Dorset for the next 20 years. As part of this consultation period it is important that we also hear the views of the local businesses in the area.
“The district council and Federation of Small Businesses have arranged the events to get an appropriate economic focus.
“Businesses have been invited to comment on economic and commercial activity in West Dorset”.
If you are interested in coming along please register by calling 01305 252386 or email [email protected] with your name, contact details and any dietary requirements.
