7th October 2011SIDMOUTH: Memorial service at sanctuary
A touching memorial day was held at the Donkey Sanctuary on Saturday of last week.
The event was a unique opportunity to remember loved ones during a poignant memorial service and with flowers and reed crosses adorning the memorials within the sanctuary’s grounds.
The event also remembered those who have left money to the charity in their will or have donated to the sanctuary and, in return, these loved ones were blessed and thanked.
Dawn Vincent said on behalf of the sanctuary: “The memorial day on Saturday was absolutely wonderful.
“Loved ones were remembered in the most brilliant sunshine and beautiful, peaceful surroundings.
“It is lovely to bless those who have helped us in the past.”
