5th October 2011BRIDPORT: Don't miss hospital fete
AN autumn fete will be raising money for services at Bridport Community Hospital this weekend.
The event promises to be a fun filled afternoon and will be opened by the town’s Mayor and Mayoress.
Stalls will be located indoors and outside, so come rain or shine, visitors will be able to meet the Emergency Services team, try their luck at the raffle and tombola and take part in a range of family games. The hospital will also be hosting music and singing, face painting and providing a range of refreshments.
Heather Purse, Matron at Bridport Community Hospital, said: “Our hospital fete is a fun way to engage the local community in the work that we do. There will be lots of activities for the whole family to take part in and all the money raised will go towards supporting the services at Bridport Community Hospital.”
The fete will run from 2pm to 5pm at Bridport Community Hospital this Saturday, October 8th. Entry is free.
