29th September 2011BRIDPORT: Intimate setting for one-woman show
BRIDPORT Arts Centre will welcome Hot Ice Theatre and their production of Bed & Breakfast in the intimate setting of the Arts Centre Café this Saturday (October 1st).
The tragic-comic monologue explores the steamy underside of rural idyll. As a guest at Hive Corner, Upper Crevice’s finest (and only) bed & breakfast you will meet Carol Carpenter - the newly widowed hostess.
She loves to talk. But as Carol’s stories of local life, local people, and her lengthy marriage unfolds over 50 minutes you may suspect that things in Upper Crevice are not as comfortably cosy as first they seem.
Programme manager Margie Barbour commented “This well crafted, atmospheric humorous monologue is perfect for the intimate Arts Centre Café. It’s a gentle story with a twist that will delight audiences.”
