BRIDPORT: 'Chariteas and ukuleles' fundraiser

AN encore performance from the Bucky Don’ts helped raise £350 at the Walditch “Chariteas and Ukuleles” fundraiser for Save the Children.

The Bucky Don’ts Ukulele group played in the Walditch Village Hall where there was standing room only for visitors, who also enjoyed homemade cakes, teas and coffees.

The event had been organised by Bee Smithwick and Jane Silver-Corren in aid of Save the Children’s East Africa appeal. They will be holding a similar event near Christmas.
