PLAYERS were asked to show more respect to referee’s this season in an effort to reduce the amount of pressure put on the man in black by mob protests and abuse hurled at the referee when a decision is given against a team which they feel unfair.

RICH Hebditch scored twice, to take his tally to seven for the season, whilst new signings Adam Bourne (Martock) and Ian Masters (Ilminster Town) chipped-in with singles as South Petherton knocked-out old rivals Lyme Regis 4-3 at Combe in Saturday’s semi-final.
