WEST DORSET: First aid awards
Dorset residents have just a few days left to enter the St John Ambulance First Aid Awards. Entries will close on July 27th for the competition which will be hosted by TV presenter Ray Mears in November.
The awards event will recognise people’s courage and knowledge as first aid role models, as well as raising awareness that first aid can be the difference between lives lost and lives saved. Ray Mears says: “The skill to save a life is an essential one; you never know when you could find yourself faced with a situation where first aid is the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
