4th July 2012COLYTON: Caterpillars tuck into Indian feast
COLYTON Caterpillars held a fundraising Indian night for children and their families.
Staff at the preschool decorated the tables and created an Indian banquet for the many families who use the pre-school.
As well as fundraising for the Caterpillars, the event also gave children a chance to try a different type of food, promoting new cuisine and tastes.
There was a selection of curries on offer from something extra spicy for the brave dads who came along to a less spicy Korma and a vegetarian option, all served up with rice, bread, poppadoms and dips.
For those who were unable to attend the evening, organisers also set up a delivery system, giving out takeaways.
Also on offer were temporary Indian-style henna tattoos and bindhis, plus a raffle with a chance to win a hamper full of Indian treats.
Organisers of the event would like to thank Damon Ralph for his help with making the curries as well as to Tesco whichdonated food to the evening.
