DORCHESTER: Family bike ride

Cyclists are being encouraged to join in a bike ride this Sunday, May 13th to raise money for St John Ambulance.

The event will start and finish in Sturminster Newton and will include eight and 25-mile routes, aimed at ‘weekend cyclists’ and families. A more demanding 60-mile route will also be on offer.

The event starts and finishes at The Exchange in Sturminster Newton and costs £10 to enter for adults, £5 for under 16s who must be accompanied by an adult. Registrations will be between 9am and 10.30am.

Money raised from the event will help buy essential equipment for St John Ambulance volunteers, to help keep their ambulances on the road and to train as many people as possible in first aid techniques.

For further information about the event, or to register, please phone the St John Ambulance events team on 01305 751167 or email [email protected].
