BRIDPORT: Bus timetables up for discussion

A MEETING to discuss the implications of changes to bus timetables will be held tomorrow (Thursday, March 22nd).

Discussion will focus on the new 31 timetable and the forthcoming withdrawal of the 45 bus towards West Bay.

The bi-monthly meeting is the latest in a series held by West Dorset Western Area Transport Action Group (WATAG) on transport.

The meeting is open to all members of the public interested in public transport matters. Representatives from Dorset County Council (Passenger Transport Department) and the main bus operators have been invited to attend in order to update us on the situation.

There will be a review of items raised at previous meetings and time will be left for a “democratic moment” when any individual may raise questions about local bus and rail services to which they would like answers.

The meeting is scheduled for March 22nd at the WI Hall, North Street, Bridport, starting at 6.30pm (ending by 8.30pm).
