22nd February 2012LYME REGIS: Theatre fundraiser makes £2,600
THE final traces blood (or rather tomato ketchup!) have been mopped up and the puns put away for another year as everyone involved in the Between Courses production of “Murder in the Oriental Express” can look back fondly on a very successful event.
Local residents came out in force to support the show, a fundraiser for the Marine Theatre. It raised a total of £2,606.85 after the company put on an extra night due to extraordinary public demand.
Director Jenny Wiles said: “It was fundraising with the emphasis on fun. Many thanks to everyone involved.”
