15th February 2012BEAMINSTER: It's panto time...oh yes it is!
The young people of the Beaminster Youth Centre will be staging their first ever pantomime this weekend.
Around 50 people became involved in the production of Beauty and the Beast after it was decided to do something to “bring the community together”.
And with a specialist teacher in Street Dance involved, a live five-piece band, and some genuine talent on display, it promises to be a real spectacle.
Paula Buxton, directing for the first time, explained how they have been working hard for the past three months to bring the show together, promising music, dance, colour and spectacle.
Tea and cakes made by the youngsters themselves will be available at the matinée.
Beauty and the Beast at Beaminster Comprehensive School, Friday, February 17th and Saturday, February 18th.
