Age UK Dorchester is helping people to receive a rebate of £120 off their Winter electricity bill.
The Warm Home Discount Scheme provides the automatic rebate on your electricity bills in winter 2011/12 if you receive the Guarantee element of Pension Credit on the qualifying date of 11 September 2011.
However, each energy supplier has discretion over who receives the rebate if they are in receipt of other means-tested benefits. e.g. In receipt of Savings element of Pension Credit.

Energy suppliers participating in the scheme include: Atlantic, British Gas, EDF Energy, E.ON, Equipower, Equigas, Manweb, M&S Energy, npower, Sainsbury’s Energy, Scottish Gas, Scottish Hydro, ScottishPower, Southern Electric, SSE, Swalec and Utility Warehouse.
