THE Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association will be hosting a book fair at Uplyme Village Hall on Saturday, October 29th from 10.30am to 4pm.
This event is now in its eleventh year and will feature books, maps, prints and postcards from 20 professional book dealers from across the South West.
Lyme Regis Museum will be represented at the book fair, offering a selection of the publications sold in the museum shop, including the new release “The Lymiad”, written anonymously in 1818 describing social life of Lyme Regis in the time of Jane Austen and Mary Anning.
The Society of Wood Engravers, including local artist Howard Phipps, will also be exhibiting some of their work at the book fair, and delicious organic food will be available. Admission is free.
