THE younger students at Honiton Community College have been honoured for their achievements during the last school year.
A special awards evening was held to celebrate students academic progress and achievements in years seven, eight and nine.
The awards evening follows a similar event held last month, which celebrated older students’ achievement in GCSE and A-level exams.
Awards were given for progress and high achievement in academic subjects.
Cup winners were: English Cup – Jack O’Riordan; Mathematics Cup – Megan Hawkins; Science Cup – Josh Heaven; Humanities Cup – Katie Durrant; Modern Languages Cup – Jessica Hall; Creative Arts Cup – Jack O’Riordan; Technology Cup – Tom Hembrow; IT Cup – Lucy Lear; Sportsman Cup – Harry Wright; Sportswomen Cup – Beth Hooper; Governors Cup (boys) – Jack O’Riordan and Governors Cup (girls) Brittany Lakin.
