BEAMINSTER: Many happy returns for Winn

A POPULAR Beaminster lady celebrated a milestone birthday last week with family from around the globe.

Celebrating her 95th birthday, Winn Gaffey was joined by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren from America, France and across the UK.

The family enjoyed lunch together at Glebe Court, where Winn has lived for 20 years, and then celebrated into the evening.

Mrs Gaffey said: “It was lovely really, it’s been such a long time since we had everybody together like that. 

“It was really nice to see everyone and hopefully we can do it again next year.”
