30th September 2011SEATON YOUTH FOOTBALL: Greens hit ten past Crediton
LAST weekend Seaton Under 10s travelled to Crediton to play Crediton Youth and Crediton Saints.
In the first match against Crediton Youth Seaton played very well, creating many attacking moves and ended up winning the game 10-0. There were four goals for Finley Rooke, three for team captain Edward Kenworthy and one each for William Hellier and Trafford Willcox.
In the second match Seaton faced Crediton Saints, many of this team were younger than the Seaton players and they really had no answer to the more experienced team.
Seaton dominated the play and ended up winning 17-0, with the goals being shred between Reece McCabe (5), William Hellier (4), Finley Rooke (3), Edward Kenworthy (3) and Matthew Heron (2).
This was a very good weekend for the team and these results now move Seaton up to fourth place in the table.
Lyme Regis Under 14s team manager Mark Bailey is on the look-out for new players - anybody interested should call 07881 628205.
