SIDMOUTH: Eggscellent Easter Bonnets from Sidmouth Infants School

By Huw Hennessy

Sidmouth infants celebrated their end of the Spring term with their traditional Easter Bonnet parade.

The children paraded around the playground in the sunshine on the last day of term before proud parents and teachers.

Head teacher Hilary Williams judged the best bonnets, while PTA volunteers ran a raffle stall, adding to the entertainment.

A select group of pupils also posed for a picture in front of a plaque that had been unveiled earlier in the week, commemorating a donation from the Keith Owen Fund for its Wildlife Discovery area.

The school was given £5,000 to create an outdoor classroom.
