15th September 2010WEYMOUTH: Boot camp training comes to town
TWO British Army ex-servicemen are ready to put Weymouth residents through their paces in a week-long boot camp this October.
Head trainer Robert “Boris” Stone is an ex-Army Physical Training Instructor and has a string of fitness training qualifications gained in setting up his personal trainer business “Outrageously Active with Boris”.
Assistant Chris “Billy” Smart was on active service most of his 23 Army years before retiring. They have combined their expertise to produce a five-day residential course starting in October, combining fitness training and weight loss using military techniques.
Boris and Billy can often be seen training around Weymouth, as they are currently filming for their online boot camp service, providing people to complete their military fitness course from home.
Boris said: “We want to give people a taste of military style fitness training, the sort of thing Billy and I did in the Army to prepare us for deployment.
“Don’t worry though, we don’t shout at you. We do have fun and all our instruction is done with determination and good humour. We will push you though because we want you to get results”
Billy added: “Boris and I have run fitness boot camps together before and everyone has a great time.
“We have people from all walks of life on our courses from businessmen to stay-at-home mums. We help everyone try to reach their fitness and weight loss goals. We’re really looking forward to bringing our military style boot camp to Weymouth.”
“Boot Camp Training Live!” residential course in October will be held at the Channel Hotel in Weymouth. For more information about the course visit the “Boot Camp Training Live!” website www.militaryfitnessbootcamp.co.uk
