The hunt is on for a pervert who “inappropriately touched himself” in front of a mother and her two young children whilst travelling on a Dorchester bus.
The woman, who was accompanied by her young son and daughter, was left shocked by the man’s antics as she travelled on the number 212 Shoreline bus service, between Yeovil and Dorchester.
Officers received a report from a female member of the public, who had travelled on the bus between 3.30pm and 4pm on Wednesday, August 25th.
Police in Dorchester are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
Police Constable Anthony Skeldon, of Dorchester police, said: “The woman and her children boarded the bus at Trinity Street in Dorchester and sat near the back of the vehicle.
“A man looked in their direction while he inappropriately touched himself.
“The victims moved seats, but were understandably shocked.”
The man is white, aged in his late twenties or early thirties, around six feet tall, of a medium build, with brown hair. He has blue eyes.
He was wearing a navy blue beanie hat, blue jogging bottoms and a blue waterproof jacket.
PC Skeldon said: “It’s possible that other passengers will have information that will help me with my investigation. Contact me as soon as possible.”
Anyone travelling on the 212 Shoreline bus between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, August, 25th should call police urgently.
