BRIDPORT: Do you know your family history?

Thinking of starting your family history? Has the new series of ‘Who do you think you are?’ wetted your appetite to start a new hobby?

A Family History Open Day will take place in Bridport this Saturday (September 4th) from 10am until 4pm at Marsh Barn Farm, Burton Road, Bridport.

Anyone interested is invited to go along for a chat and meet the tutor and students. They can see what the students have been researching and perhaps discuss joining one of the classes. Tea and coffee will be available.

Family History courses have been running in Bridport for the past ten years and a group of very successful researchers have developed. New courses are always on offer. Internet access and a huge research library are available for students to access. A variety of courses are planned for the autumn from beginners to advanced research, so there is something for everyone.
