1st September 2010BURTON BRADSTOCK: Far from the Madding Crowd performed by Burton Bradstock Players
“Far from the Madding Crowd” must be one of Thomas Hardy’s best-loved novels and Burton Bradstock Players are busy rehearsing a very atmospheric adaptation by Matthew White. A lovely cast has been assembled by Daphne Ekins, Director, that includes musicians who will play music of the period; she feels they will more than do justice to this fascinating but tragic love story. Set in rural Dorset, it should appeal to all who are living or visiting here.
The play will be performed at 7.30 pm from Wednesday, September 1st to Saturday, September 4th in Burton Bradstock Village Hall. The Box Office is open at Burton Bradstock Post Office. Prices for tickets are: adults £6, children (under 16) £4.
