DORCHESTER: Cyclist dies afer collision with carINVESTIGATIONS are being carried out after a man was knocked from his bicycle and killed in a late night traffic collision. The man was treated by paramedics at the side of the road but later died at hospital following the collision with a Ford Ka vehicle.
The female driver of the car, who is from the Crossways area and in her 30s, was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation. A section of Warmwell Road, Crossways was closed for several hours as police collision and crime scene investigators examined the area. The collision happened at 11.50pm on Thursday, July 22nd outside the Texaco garage. Anyone with information should call Dorchester police on 01305 222222.
