Master Chef Winner Mat Follas will officially cut the ribbon to open the annual free family fun day Roadshow in Dorchester this weekend.
The West Dorset Police Blue Light Roadshow will be officially opened at 11am at Dorchester Rugby Club, Coburg Road.
The free family fun day will host many stalls including displays from the Dog Section, see inside a Police car, face painting by Magna Housing.
There will also be Dorset Search and Rescue (DORSAR) Penny and Mini Searches, West Dorset District Council Action Van and Bouncy Castle, Coastguard, Ambulance Service (with a ‘story telling’ area, make a fruit kebab and casualty make up of wounds), Dorset Fire and Rescue Service , Wayfinder POPPs and many more stalls. The Coastguard Helicopter is due to attend along with The Air Ambulance Helicopter at 12noon subject to weather conditions.
Car Parking is available at The Thomas Hardye School, Queens Avenue ,with kind permission of Headteacher Dr Melvin.
The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, July 24th.
