DORCHESTER: Summer holiday fun

A HOST of activities to help children beat the boredom of the summer holidays are being offered at Dorchester’s Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre.

A six week packed programme for children aged between six and 13-years-old will see them enjoy activities including indoor skating, multi-sports sessions, use of the junior gym, swimming lessons in the pool and rugby games.

Assistant manager at the centre, Jo Burton, said: “The activities are designed to be enjoyable with an emphasis on coaching and learning new skills from local clubs and qualified coaches. There is something for everyone”.

Children can try out lots of activities from Monday to Friday including some weekends from 8am to 6pm. The day’s activities cost £17.70 or £8.85 per session.

The centre is also offering a summer special, where you can spend five days for the price of four or even five sessions for the price of four.
