LYME REGIS: Museum volunteers sign up at first coffee morning

EIGHT new volunteers signed up to Lyme Regis Museum at a coffee morning and will shortly begin their training under manager Alix Fairley.

“It was the first time we had organised an event such as this, and the response was bigger than we hoped for – but of course more volunteers would always be welcome,”  said Alix.

The new volunteers will now begin training ready to welcome summer visitors whose numbers are expected to exceed the record 25,000 of last year.
