BRIDPORT: Pupils turn to View From for advice

ST Catherine’s Primary School newspaper club have been seeking inspiration from the View From for their latest issue.

The club has 12 budding reporters who all contribute with reports, interviews and photographs for their paper, which is released every half term.

In time for their next publication the group grilled View From reporter Tom Glover on the world of local journalism.

The group will now write up the interview for their next newspaper.

Teacher Amanda Haylock said: “Lots of stuff happens in the school and we felt that sometimes parents didn’t know much about it.

“We thought the newspaper was a great way to keep parents informed and gave the children a chance to write about it themselves.”
