CHARD: Skatepark benches

TWO new benches made of black recycled materials will be installed in the Skatepark at Henson Park in Chard, thanks to funding obtained by Streetspace.

The group approached the town council and said it had £600 towards the cost.

The council amenities committee agreed that the town council would make up the rest of the£ 747.70 needed and  take ownership of the benches to make provision for insurance and maintenance.
