ELECTRIC Comedy returns on Friday, February 10th with an all-star line-up hosted by legendary 'Grumpy old man' Arthur Smith who returns to Bridport for this unmissable night of comedy.
A stalwart of the Edinburgh Fringe and a Radio 4 favourite, Arthur Smith is also a familiar face on TV with extensive appearances on Qi, Have I Got News For You and of course BBC1's Grumpy Old Men. He's regarded as a true living comedy legend and a compere beyond compare, his unique outlook putting thousands of smiles and big laughs across the faces of the UK for years.
Arthur will be introducing one of the hottest names in comedy at the moment, Andi Osho. One of the most successful female comedians of recent times, Andi has performed barnstorming sets at Live At The Apollo and was handpicked for Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow aswell as being a regular guest on Mock The Week, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Ask Rhod Gilbert. Andi's heartwarming and hilarious comedy delights audiences as she zips from the intelligent to the downright silly with recollections of her Nigerian background and life growing up in the east end of London which has cemented her place in the premier league of stand-up.
Joining Andi and Arthur for this incredible evening will be the brilliantly slick and subtle James Redmond who opens the show. Tickets are on sale now.
Arthur Smith and Andi Osho will perform at the Electric Palace, Bridport on Friday, February 10th. Doors open 7pm, and tickets cost £12.50, available from the box office on 01308 424901 or in person from Bridport Tourist Info Centre. For more details visit www.electricpalace.org.uk
