BEAMINSTER: Friends bid farewell

POPULAR Beaminster lady Win Gaffey enjoyed afternoon tea with friends before leaving Glebe Court.

Cilla Burdess at Glebe Court said: “We had an afternoon tea for her before she left, when 25 or more of her friends and residents attended. We were all very sad to see her go.

“We also invited Dorothy Earl, one of our 95-year-old residents who has also left us and is now living at Abbeyfield, Beaminster.”

Glebe Court is sheltered accommodation run by Magna Housing Association.
