MEMBERS of Beaminster Woman’s Institute had an excellent Scots Evening.
The evening comprised of music by members of The Beaminster Gallery Quire, and included the traditional Address to the Haggis and The Selkirk Grace.
A group then had a traditional Scottish supper of haggis, neeps and tatties. This was followed by “A Toast to the Lassies” - followed by shortbread and a tot of whisky liqueur.
A quiz, more music and Auld Lang Syne rounded off the evening, which was attended by 71 Members and two visitors.
